[MPlayer-dev-eng] update to the speedup patch

I took a look at the patch and I think that it does exactly what I was
planning to do :)
You've submited the patch relative to the previous revision, before
all coding style changes and panscan. If I have time, I'll "convert"
your code to the new revision and will post a patch for everyone to
see if it's done right. If it is, it will get into the tree :)
