I'm sorry - I just did it again, just to prove to myself:

svn checkout svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/trunk/ devel
cd devel
./configure
make
./mplayer.exe whatever

I use fully working MinGW environment. Do you want me to attach configure.log?
