I've just compiled r25844 to test sub_scale with -ass.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but when I change the subtitle size 
with sub_scale using the option -ass I get huge subtitles.

What I did:
(first without -ass)

mplayer video.avi -sub subtitles.srt  -slave -quiet

now I type "sub_scale 3 1", this is what I've got:

Now with -ass:
mplayer video.avi -sub subtitles.srt  -slave -quiet -ass

again I type "sub_scale 3 1", with this result:

Shouldn't the subtitles be the same size?
