Problem is, I have neither the time nor interest to review, test,
possibly fix and test more the whole patchset in one step, triply so
since some parts break the Gui, which I will at best have time to fix
incrementally.
And I also don't want to discuss forever.
So I will just leave this for someone else to deal with, though I will
have a look at patches that affect files officially maintained by me if
asked.
