What good is that overwriting supposed to be? I know that here in
Germany several broadcasters have been misusing it to e.g. show short
but quickly scrolling advertisements etc.
While I wouldn't miss those advertisements, I think this whole thing is
based on the wrong assumption that whatever is there is even in any way
related to the current time.
