[MPlayer-dev-eng] [PATCH] avoid `!' for negating exit status

Hello,

I've been trying to compile MPlayer on Solaris 9 with GCC 4.2.2. To
achieve this I had to make some changes. As I think that this might be
of some use for others too, I divided these changes into five patches.
The first patch is attached to this mail.
