[MPlayer-dev-eng] mplayer and Leopard (OS X 10.5) issue

There is an issue compiling mplayer with the CoreVideo module under OS  
X 10.5 Leopard due to an Apple bug. The following URLs nicely

I've been using the following patch to compile under Leopard.  
Hopefully it gives someone a pointer on what needs to be done if not  
acceptable as a fix.
