Behaviour with respect to changing video size modes, fullscreen scaled
and location on screen.

My new spu yuv scaler i hope to be finished today should be enough
general purpose to handle this, however scaling down to 1/16 you might
run into troubles. and it must scale to a width/16 and height/4.

You would simply only need to pass a command to it telling it to
update its parameters. Although i dont know how this is done in the gl
vo.


However it will have to tell the Xserver to redraw everything around
it as its working on the framebuffer!
