The SSE routines I imported from mp3lib to mpg123 are a bit faster on
32bit cpus I tested on. For example on a Pentium-M I have for a track
3.0s user time with SSE compared to 3.2s with MMX. On a Athlon64 in
32bit mode it's more tight, another file, 0.93s SSE (similar 3DNowExt)
against 0.98s MMX, against 1.3s with i586 opt, against 1.9s with
generic code.
