The fullscreen patch was actually only for aspect changes with the same
file and was in the thread named "vo_gl - fullscreen problem on config
change" about a year ago.
The real solution for that is fixed-vo=yes in the config file (does
anything speak against making this the default?)
No idea where the other patch is, but I think it should be somewhere close to
Wander's complaint mail, maybe he can give a hint?
