Its not a lack of interest -- its a lack of hardware. I've tested this 
patch on a Sun Fire V210 that has an XVR-100 running Solaris 10 and did 
not experience any problems. As the maintainer of the Solaris port 
(which this patch mostly effects), it has my blessings to be committed.
