There's some VIS in libavcodec/sparc/dsputil_vis.c ?

Mind, MPlayer doesn't compile out of the box on Solaris 10 anyway, the 
gcc there treats -O3 (and mplayer uses -O4 which is -O3) as 
-Oalways_crash ;-) But I don't remember any problems with the vis parts 
in lavc..
