I wish you'd suggested it before I ever started working on the mp asf
demuxer ;-). But obviously I'd be against it at this point.

Incidentally the lavf demuxer is almost there now apart from ac3 sound and
the invalid framerate detection bug posted recently. I'm planning to work on
ac3 as per your suggestion soon, but have you had a chance to look at the
framerate issue? If not, I will try to investigate at some point. I really
want to get this working for a couple of different projects and I will get
them to use lavf by default if necessary.
