I'm also for avoiding svn repo hacking.

I'd like a little more text defining the exception. I have hard time
imagining what illegal content (source) is. The closest thing that
comes into my mind is decss .
I guess there is no need to say that this is international project and
something been illegal in one country may not be illegal in another.
Or maybe you didn't mean court order but code committed by cracker?
