Agreed. Apply unless someone can provide a better solution in the next
day or two... It can always be replaced by a cleaner fix later, but
I'm really disgusted with these bogus error message MPlayer prints
which point confused users in the wrong direction, and often towards
Windows crap which perpetuates the myth that MPlayer is a
windows-dll-based player.
