Yes the GTK+/2 GUI is working on OSX with Apple's X11 and as
updated by myself with the current XFree86-cvs (4.6.99.22+) along
with building all latest versions of the requisite projects
(pango, cairo, atk...)! I can actually use the skins, and have
seen some nice ones and ugly ones as well. Some display a bit too
tiny on this Apple 23-inch HD LCD, making mouse-clicks rather
difficult sometimes. ;)
I thought I mentioned this was working somewhere on these lists
and in a bug-report or two I've filed recently.
I've yet to have time to try the GTK-on-OSX project
<http://developer.imendio.com/wiki/Gtk_Mac_OS_X>
but hope to start on it soon.
...and a "doh!" for me not realising we have a vcd_read_darwin.h,
I'll give it a shot. Thank you for mentioning.

(good gawd we gotta ask Charles Kerr to fix the word-wrapping when
quoting in pan2 ;) )
