I believe you have the mistaken impression that FLOSS developers (or at
least MPlayer developers) sit idly about waiting for random users to
show up with obscure and fairly useless feature requests, and would then
immediately drop whatever they're doing -- which surely can't be nearly
as important as you or your request -- to hack said feature in the
manner specified.
