[MPlayer-dev-eng] Where should I insert my code in mplayer for preprocessing.

Hi,

I want to insert some for preprocessing of media file.
Where should exactly I should insert my code.
I wanted to know how mplayer works. Is there any developer documentaion of
mplayer. So that I can add any feature in it.  I want ot write some
plugin/filter/enhancement (as we have 3d audio pluagin for xmms, somthing
like that or automatic contrst and brightness adjustment based on scene).
