IMHO it's more than a cosmetic issue. The behaviour now is that the
screensaver is disabled when gmplayer begins to run, even when no movie
will be played. Since the screensaver is reenabled when playback stops,
it's only logical to disable it right before playback starts and not
from the very beginning.
