Would it be impossible to reply to a message from -cvslog but send the
reply to here (i.e. change the To: field)? That kind of thing is
considered acceptable, I think...

Eh? Unless I'm *very* far out of the loop, there is no 'mplayer-cvs'
mailing list - just 'mplayer-cvslog'. Maybe gmane has renamed it on
their end for some kind of consistency?
