With the patch applied, if the filename's OK when you type 'ls', it
should be OK in mplayer's output, too. Without the patch it isn't
always the case, if MSG_CHARSET is UTF-8 and mp_msg_charset is
something else. I don't how japanese got encoded when locale is set to
ISO8859....
