[MPlayer-dev-eng] About Mplayer licensing

Hello everybody,

I have read quite a lot information saying that mplayer utilizes many LGPL 
library stuff but could not clearly find the licensing document on the main 
site. Can anybody please tell me if mplayer itself is indeed under LGPL, or 
GPL, or other kind of license? Thanks very much.
