Yes, most likely i've posted about this multiple times on ffmpeg mailing
list. It's not really 
A decoder error it's a demuxer error. libavformat looks for start of next
frame to figure out the end of current frame. Since libdvdnav won't give
this it will fail. If I go by what he says, this is likely the same trouble
with mplayer. Last data given by libdvdnav is the end of gop.
