I actually have to admit your renderer DOES look pretty good. I didn't
look at it before posting my previous mail (I just waited for you to put
up the features at the wiki :P)

Thing is, aside from the 3 currently active projects, there was quite a
number that failed before them. Every single of them seemed ambitious,
had great concepts - and then starved off anyway. So "i'm writing an ASS
renderer" became a running gag among fansubbers. You'd be the first one
to succeed.

P.S.: One "complaint" I do hold up, though - are you actually getting
feedback from fansubbers? If your renderer is off a single bit, the
typesetters will roast you ;)
