This thread took off 3 days after the commit... (4 days after the "I'm about
to commit this" message, 12 days after original message). Nobody else had
replied to it up to that point. If this was the result of not putting [PATCH]
in the Subject, I've learned my lesson.

A couple of fbdev patches have without reply; I wonder if comitting those
will stir up something.
