So both solutions are equal?

Let's say it otherwise. Use:

   #ifdef HAVE_LAVC_DSP

instead of these messy long

   #if defined(USE_LIBAVCODEC) && ! defined(USE_LIBAVCODEC_SO)

fair enough?
