Yes, but smth similar needs to be done for the Makefile too:

ifeq ($(TARGET_ARCH_X86),yes)
SRCS += decode_i586.c
OBJS += decode_i586.o

...

I'm not a Makefile statements kings, so I need to read the docs of
make to learn how to write a "or" statement.
