Not exactly sure what you mean. Do you mean that in non-fullscreen the
windows position is reset to center? I am not aware of a clean solution
that will not cause trouble for some people - e.g. if you put the window
in the lower left corner and then the next video is larger, what do you
do? An alternative would be to always leave the window at the same size
and position and add black borders as in fullscreen mode, but I doubt
this would please everyone either.
Be aware that unless you move the window by hand, you can workaround
these with a combination of -fs, -nofs and -geometry options at the
right places on the command line.
Anyway, IMHO the problem here is not so much coding things, but deciding
on what the "right" behaviour would be.
