I replied to the first part rather than indicating in text after both
which part I was referring to, and I don't think it was "out of
context".

You're basically accusing me that I kept sending lots of mails repeating
the same argument. My point above is that I think you made a mistake
categorizing mails as part of "this discussion", and might have seen it
differently if the subject line in the C-related mails had been changed
earlier.
