I might have snipped a little too much that time, I think.
This is not the "-endpos support in MPlayer" patch - that has, as I
said, seen a later version submitted in a different thread (It would
take a *lot* for me to consider dropping that one). This is Albeu's
time_size patch, which I believe implements "-endpos at byte position"
as an alternative to "-endpos at time position" and which I don't
remember offhand being often-requested...
