Here's the output on my freshly installed OS X 10.4:

localhost:~ diegobiurrun$ gcc-3.3 -maltivec -mabi=altivec -S -o - gccbug.c | grep stv
localhost:~ diegobiurrun$ gcc-3.3 --version
gcc-3.3 (GCC) 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1809)
