You had to specially leave it like that? I don't know but I somehow
managed to configure mutt to dislike everything special, because I get:

> + \240 \240 \240 \240 \240r->mt = r->mb = (vo_dwidth - aw) / 2;
> + \240 \240 \240 \240 \240r->ml = r->mr = (vo_dheight - ah) / 2;

I have a very similar experience every time amazon.de tries again to put
Umlauts in they emails.
And every time I (and probably many others) tell them they have to set
the charset for that to work. Which has the effect that instead of
fixing it they write again ae instead of ä etc.
Ridiculous, you'd expect that over the years they would manage to cope
with the non-ascii world...
