I dropped it for now, the original author of the XScreenSaverSuspend() code 
told me none of the screensavers around ( KDE,Gnome, etc ) supports this! 
Until we can get people to fix these, XScreenSaverSuspend() is not much use.

I am keeping an eye on this and will re-send the patch once the KDE/Gnome 
screensavers are fixed.
