How about this? AMD atleast seems to report mmxext, I was told.
The thing that might break are the non-amd/non-intel ones like
VIA C3, but if I remember the original thread right, some versions
of C3 had SSE but not MMX2. One can only hope that the C3s with
MMX2 have mmxext in cpuflags...
