The OSD localization problem has not been solved yet, since no one want to 
attack the iconv problem, this will be a big problem for the translators, if 
we translate the OSD message, users will see garbage because the string is 
treated as latin-1 string. We could: 1. Do NOT translate the osd messages. 2. 
Separate the osd message to a different file, and force the encoding to be 
UTF-8, then we can safely pick up the old UTF-8 patch. I prefer the latter, 
but I don't know if we could make it before the release.
