[MPlayer-dev-eng] Need help on PXA 270

Hi Dénes,

My main problem that I lost Linux development at kernel 0.96 so when I
tried to compile the latest source of MPlayer and run into endless
problems I thought it was wise to ask someone who has experience.
The starter kit I have is not really applicable for compiling. I've got a
toolchain for cross-compiling on an x86 machine, and ./configure
--target/arm-linux runs without major problems, however, the make does 
not do
that. I apparently need to setup some variables to point to the arm kernel
source and libraries, but it seems to take me forever. Any help would be
highly appreciated.

I found some Zaurus binaries but of course they did not run on my
configuration. The author suggests to compile the stuff on Zaurus, but my
Starter kit has only 32 MB RAM and another 32 MB flash-ROM. (Of course I 
can
organise a bigger CF card if it is necessary.) But I have only the
cross-toolchain, nothing for the ARM architecture.
