I used
./configure --enable-shared
make
make install
for installation of libx264.
I didn't used YUM.
As I wrote previously I type
 # rpm -ihv mplayer-1.0pre8-0.7.20060406.i386.rpm
 to install mplayer and got an error :(

Now I am trying to get CVS and to compile them. The problem is that
internet is accessible only via proxy. I haven't found any key for cvs
program to make it work via proxy :(
CVS in .tar.gz archive is unavailable :(
