Improvement compared to what? This patch specifically should not matter
with those decoders; but if you're comparing a version with all my av
sync patches to one with none of them then the others might help.

Other decoders would benefit from patching too, but I didn't try to
change them all at once. If you have files with VBR mp3 audio you can
try using "-ac ffmp3" which uses the patched ffmpeg decoder (for CBR mp3
the difference is likely small).
