[MPlayer-dev-eng] How about doing a release finally?

Hi,
I'd like to suggest making a release this week, it really has been long
enough since the last one. Within this week because I'll be leaving on
sunday for a week or two (well, I you can of course do a release without
me).
What do think about it? I would suggest Thursday or so...

P.S.: attached is patch that adds changing the "release" tag in
codecs.conf before a release. That should help us against bugreports from
users that have an old version around...
