What you are talking about? Is this a political campaign?
Why you insist on which system to use. Everybody should have a choise.

Look at the MPlayer man page:

DESCRIPTION
        mplayer  is  a movie player for Linux (runs on many other platforms  
and
        CPU architectures, see the documentation).

is it a lie or there should be stated that MPlayer is a Linux only movie
player coded for private usage by Ritch, RC and ... (list of developers).

Nonsense argumentation. If there is a project then there are developers  
too.Obvious.
Nobody negates developers role.
But if this project is presented on the public domain then it can't
be treated as closed and proprietary one. It is on the GPL licence
and has widely available WWW page.
So where is the logic in your argumentation?
What Arpi can say about all this kind of approach to the project?
Are you sticking to the project rules arguing in this manner?
