No it has a posix subsystem, implementing the bare minimum to comply
to some minimum posix standard. It's totally isolated from the rest of the
system and if you use the posix stuff you can't actually use any of the
regular win32 stuff... It's basically just there so they can claim the certificate.


Then there's also Interix which is "full" Unix compatibility layer, supposedly
this is what they sell to customers who want to migrate stuff from Unix to
windows, and it provides enough Unix to run alot of Unix apps. Even NetBSD's
pkgsrc claims to support Interix.
