indeed i think those script should not be deleted, they're however
good/good examples in any case...

maybe to add an echo "please use that other, if you want to activate
this remove this notice" at the beginnning of those script could be
better off.

at least until the new script doesn't have two pass encoding and is
better tested/enhanced :-)))

BTW, it seems to be a good script :-)
