[MPlayer-dev-eng] Does MEncoder support pipe?

Hello,

   Does MEncoder support pipe? I want to pipe MEncoder and ffmpeg because MEncoder can recognize so many file formats. Is it very difficult to add this feature to MEncoder? 

   Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
