I agree with you. The reason I posted a patch was just to show all the
work-around I had found, so that people don't accuse me of not having
investigate a little big around the problem.
As I said: month-old -pre5 binary plays fine oggs, CVS plays fine on my
AMD-64, but fails on my i386, which I find quite odd.
A dist-upgrade doesn't fix the problem.

Checked that already. The problem isn't there.
To conclude, I'd just want to say thank you to people who gave me
insight to fix that problem, even it didn't help to fix it.
It's not an MPlayer bug, it's my system that is screwed up, but I know a
work-around, so life's cool.
