Hey all, just to throw a wrench in the works for darwin support,
apple today announced that os x has worked on intel boxes since the
first betas, and starting next year, the first intel macs will ship.
Please think of this before any endiness/altivec code is assumed. So
far only intel chips have been announced. The fink project is going
to see about getting one or two development machines to start testing
on (apple is renting them for $999 until the first x86 macs appear)
