IIRC for every stream with mpeg1/2 video, so you don't have to touch 
decoders
(vo_mpegpes, vo_dxr2 and vo_zoran work the same way)

I guess that duplicating vo_dxr3 (or mpegpes that should be a bit simpler)
and the relative hooks in libvo/ is the easiest way to proceed, although

remember that you can't distribute gpl code that links to non-gpl 
compatible code
