I agree, but currently the ad_* and af_* modules have a different
control interface, and mixer.c does not even have access to the ad_*
control.  I am probably not knowledgeable enough to see how to easily
implement AF_CTRL_* controls for ad modules.  It seems that would
require some significant changes, and I do not have time for that ATM.
