It was WideStudio I was thinking of. That's a Gui builder and widget set for 
Windows, Linux, Solaris, Mac OS and FreeBSD. I have no experience with it, 
other than having compiled a Hello World example on windows and linux with 
the same code and it worked :) There is a C (read: non-C++) API binding 
though.
