It is not only pitty, it is hard to do it in a good way.
I had reviewed it already.

The biggest problem is that with this patch ffmpeg needs to link with
xxmc driver,
as surface allocation is done inside xvmcvideo.

It is also hard to do it outside ffmpeg, because the way this works
need internal data.

Will try to work with ivor on some solution but it could take a lot of
time, or even rewrite of the way xvmc works now.

It would have been easier if i had working hardware.
