I still have the problem, even with a clean cvs. I also recompiled
without debug, but it's still the same. This is getting quite
mysterious.

My options are (some of them may be default)
./configure --with-win32libdir=/usr/local/lib/codec/win32
--with-xanimlibdir=/usr/local/lib/codec/xanim
--with-reallibdir=/usr/local/lib/codec/real
--disable-runtime-cpudetection --enable-live
--with-livelibdir=/usr/local/lib/live --enable-debug=3 --enable-qtx
--enable-menu 

I'm on P4, Linux 2.6.10 i686 GNU/Linux, gcc (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian
1:3.3.5-12), Debian unstable.
